    Paul C. Sutton is a professor of geography and the environment in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Denver. His research interests include sustainability science, ecological economics, and population geography. Dr. Sutton serves on several international expert panels and works with groups like the European Commission’s Human Planet Initiative, the Economics of Land Degradation Initiative, and the UN’s Global Environmental Outlook. He is the editor the academic journals Sustainability, Ecological Economics and Statistics, and Expresion Economica Revista. Dr. Sutton holds a Ph.D. in geography, M.A. in applied statistics, and M.A. in geography from UCSB, as well as a B.S. in chemistry from Union College.
