Summary
International Economics and Perspectives on Globalism equips students with the critical knowledge they need to fully understand and build a future career in economics within the context of our ever-expanding global economy.

Opening chapters cover the characteristics of globalism, measurements related to international trade, economic liberalism and comparative advantage, and neomercantilism and trade protectionism. Readers learn about trade barriers, modern economic structuralism, regional economic integration, balance of payments, and international financial crises. Closing chapters discuss exchange rates and the international monetary system, as well as international perspectives on other economic issues. Each chapter features an introduction, summary, and a list of suggested readings for further learning.

Designed to provide students with a concise yet highly informative overview, International Economics and Perspectives on Globalism is an ideal textbook for courses and programs in global business and economics.
