Viet Quoc Vu is a lecturer in the School of Education at the University of California Irvine. He conducts research on digital storytelling in education and teaches courses in academic writing, 21st century literacies, and foundations of education. Dr. Vu holds a Ph.D. in education with specialization in language, literacy, and technology, an M.F.A. in film and television, and an M.A. in education with an emphasis in TESOL. Prior to teaching at the University of California, Irvine, he was an elementary and high school teacher in southern California and Japan for ten years.
