Summary
The Foundations of Dance Anthology offers students an engaging and enlightening collection of articles that introduce them to various topics related to dance, including its connections to art, society, global traditions, healing, and creativity.

The interactive ebook format allows students to read the text of each reading and engage with digital learning activities throughout—including videos, flashcards, and quizzes—all within a single system.

The second edition features 10 readings that explore how dance positively affects the brain, dance and social change, international sport and dance, therapeutic dance and movement, online performance, and more. All the readings are new, as are the introductions for each of the four sections of the text: Dance as Art, Dance as a Global Mosaic, Dance and Society, and Healing, Innovation, and Creativity.

The Foundations of Dance Anthology is an ideal interactive resource for dance and performing arts courses and programs.
