Essential Korean Proverbs: 200 Proverbs to Upgrade Your Korean is a complete online course that helps foreign language learners develop their knowledge and use of Korean proverbs. It introduces students to commonly used proverbs in daily life, media, and textbooks. The course is comprised of 40 units, with each unit featuring 5 proverbs, totaling 200 proverbs.

Each module includes five segments: the meaning and usage of proverbs; key expressions; warm-up quizzes; practice questions; and dialogue and comprehension questions. The material teaches the proverbs in an easy-to-understand and practical manner and increases in difficulty as learners progress throughout the course.

The digital materials within this course include flashcards—for both literal and idiomatic meanings—practice games, and reading activities. Learners are encouraged to practice the use of idioms within dialogue quizzes. Finally, students are challenged to use the idiomatic phrases covered in each unit within a practice conversation.
