Dr. Anoop Desai is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management at Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA. He holds an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is the author of about 60 technical publications in Industrial Engineering, Sustainability and Engineering Education including 25 journal papers. His main area of interest is Design for X and the economic impact of engineering decisions. He is also the co-author of Product Development: A Structured Approach to Consumer Product Development, Design and Manufacture (Butterworth-Heinemann, 2008).
